Job Overview: A successful Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified and are reflective of reported inventory. The Cycle Counter will maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers. Job Responsibilities • Actively observe and promote ATW safety standards • Work directly with the purchasing team, shipping and receiving team, and production team to resolve inventory shortages, inaccurate counts, theft, defects. • Establish a cycle count schedule using and ABC classification, determine inventory grouping, and a count frequency. • Conduct daily cycle counts of finished goods and raw materials. • Track all counts and review results daily with supervisor. • Maintain a detailed record for all inventory count activities. • Lead and perform root-cause analysis when count variances are identified. • Identify and correct inventory issues and discrepancies. • Audit supplier deliveries, and the overall receiving process. • Assist during monthly inventory audits. • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor. Physical Demands & Work Environment • Must be capable of standing for entire shift and sit for extended periods of time. • Able to lift-up to 50 lbs.; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping. • Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather. • Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace PPE Requirements • Steel-toed shoes or composite shoes • Safety glasses • Earplugs • Gloves when handling any material
